Earlier this month there was reports around a potential deal between Microsoft and micro blogging service Twitter. Google and Microsoft were both in talks with Twitter. These negotiations were about an advanced stage where there would be to a license to tweets and to integrate search results on Google and Bing. This is interesting for both search engines because the messages posted on Twitter are often not so outdated and therefore highly topical results.

Today Bing sent me an email notification about the new Bing & Ping preview program coz i’d signed up for the preview and asked to be contacted when it released.
